TLO110 Reflection of other group's Voice Thread

I chose group 6 interpersonal mode. I did not use much  interpersonal mode in class as I wanted to. I like to learn from others how do they accomplish it online. Unfortunately, I couldn't understand the second and third person's recording  totally. I wish they can also write it down. I know the students use google hangout to exchange ideas, I would also use google doc to share the writing portion of this project. Group 6 use a chart to assess students, I will add voice tread  or mp3 to record the chart result , not only we assess student's listening ,  reading writing skills, we can also assess student's speaking skills.

#TLO108

 I do enjoy having the chance to do group work using Google Hangouts. It is very new to me. Lucky for me, my partner is easy to work with, we are on the same page, and the discussion went very well. It made the work seems alot easier and also with fun.  But one of my group member failed to joint us twice already.
The blog and the discussion in Yammer is very helpful. Reading others blogs, I can always learn from them, or getting new ideas from their posting. Some times I do not have enough time to do certain work by the due day, by solving the problem, I usually have to stay up late, sometimes the quality may not be ideal.):
From Ed Dixon's webinar, I received so many information and ideas that I can apply to f2f enviornment. If I were developing group activities in DL enviornment, my biggest concerns and challenges will be "time", do I have enough time to design the course? do I have time to corret student's work? do I have time to give individule feed back in time?
Another issue would be how do I do informal  formative assessment all the time in group setting?

As for the three modes of communication, I realized I'm using lots more interpretive and presentational modes more than the interpersonal mode. I do give in class time to have small group discussions usually about 15 minutes. I have to keep an very close eyes on them so they don't end up speaking in English instead of in Chinese.  I can give them more time to ask questions and be more interact among them. I could have debating more in different topics.
I do make comments in Google Doc with students back and forth, to edit their writings. As for distance learning environment, I could use more of Google Hangouts to enhance interpersonal mode
with students.

It is an exciting experience for me to connect with anyone using  Google Hangouts(this is new to me). I  have to ask my colleague to make sure I will connect with my group the right way.
I met with Jamal and it turned out we are in the same building in different school. He works one floor above me.
We did not meet with Reeham, hope to meet her some other time.
